Find installers across the US who have serviced solar co-ops in your state.

These installers have served our solar groups.

Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is a vendor-neutral nonprofit that helps people go solar on their own or in a group. Our solar co-ops and groups bring approximately 50 to 100 neighbors together for a bulk purchase of rooftop solar. SUN provides the expertise, but the members of the co-op are always in control — each member signs individual contracts and has the opportunity to serve on the installer Selection Committee. 

Meanwhile, our Switch Together programs organize hundreds of neighbors to go solar together and have helped thousands make the switch to solar. We partner with iChoosr in larger metropolitan areas to run these programs, and they coordinate the installer auction process.  

Below is a list of installers chosen by the members of our local solar co-ops and selected by iChoosr for our numerous Switch Together programs.

Installers by state

SUN is an installer-neutral and vendor-neutral non-profit. For our co-op programs, these installers were chosen by members of the Co-op Selection Committee, made up of co-op members, for each of the co-ops that they have serviced and were not chosen by any employees of SUN. For our Switch Together programs, these installers were selected through a reverse auction process, which is run by iChoosr to ensure the lowest price for the highest quality solar installations.
