New York: How You Can Stop Utilities From Using Your Money Against You

April 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Utilities abuse their power to line their pockets and we pay the price. We pay our bills and utilities turn it around to use it against us. They are using ratepayer funds for lobbying, campaign donations, and other political tactics. It’s time to stop utilities from playing with house money to bankroll their shady campaigns to raise our rates and block cheaper energy sources.

We’ll share how we can stop utilities from using our money against us. New York has joined several states that have legislation that would put an end to these corrupt utility practices. Assembly member Solages and Senator Brouk have filed bills that would hold utilities accountable for how they spend their customer’s money and rein in corrupt utility practices.

It’s time for New Yorkers to shine a light on utility corruption. Attend this free webinar to learn how you can flip the switch on monopoly utilities and join the movement to stop utility corruption.
