Protect your right to go solar in Lake Worth

City commissioners may soon make changes to the way solar customers are credited for the electricity they produce. This would be bad for solar and non-solar homeowners alike.

Lake Worth city commissioners may vote soon on changes to the city utility’s net metering policy. Net metering ensures that solar producers receive fair compensation for the electricity they produce. Changes to net metering could make it harder to go solar by reducing the value of the electricity that solar systems produce.

Lake Worth solar supporters are joining together on February 19 to attend the next city commission meeting. This is our opportunity to ensure solar customers, and all Lake Worth residents, are treated fairly. Please join us to show your support for solar.
