Indiana Renewable Energy Day
Hoosiers around the state are rallying to fight for their energy rights.
Join our annual day of action to demand a renewable energy future in Indiana!
What: 2021 Renewable Energy Day
When: Friday, February 5, with a live streamed main event starting at noon ET
Where: Your couch!
This year, we’re going virtual! The main event will be live streamed starting at noon ET on Friday, February 5 featuring lawmakers, experts, and advocates.
When you RSVP, we will help you connect with neighbors in your legislative district and assist with setting up a meeting with your lawmakers so you can ask them to support renewable energy policies. You’ll also receive resources for helping to spread the word on social media and in your community.
If you haven’t already, RSVP to join our grassroots lobbying training webinar at noon on Thursday, January 21.
- Watch a webinar featuring SUN Indiana Program Director Zach Schalk, Ben Inskeep from EQ Research, and Jacki Walburn from Solarize Indiana discussing a pro-solar agenda for Indiana.
- Watch two retiring Indiana law makers, Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) and Sen. Mark Stoops (D-Bloomington), discuss Vectren’s case to end net metering and the 21st Century Energy Policy Development Task Force during a September 25 webinar.
- Watch expert presenters Karl Rábago and Nicole Sitaraman explain how to dispel the pernicious “cost-shift” argument that utilities use to fight against net metering in this September 10 webinar. Rábago is a former Texas Public Service Commissioner. Sitaraman is Sunrun’s Senior Manager for Public Policy.
