The preservation of the natural world is deeply important to Scott. He is an avid outdoorsman where he enjoys running, rock climbing, skiing, and surfing. As an engagement specialist he activates people across the country to join in the effort promote a just and equitable distributed system of solar energy.
Before joining to Solar United Neighbors, Scott was a Program Fellow at the Friends Committee on National Legislation, where he advocated for national policy to address climate change. Scott has also engaged in federal and state political organizing in Colorado, where he completed his undergraduate degree. Scott earned his degree in environmental biology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where he served as Student Body President.
