Keep New Jersey solar strong

New Jersey's solar leadership is under attack. New Jersey regulators are considering a proposal to roll back solar's value.

New Jersey is a national leader in solar. More than 100,000 solar systems have been installed. A reason for this success is policies that fairly compensate solar homeowners for the value of the clean energy their solar systems produce.

But New Jersey energy regulators are proposing changes to the Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) program. These changes would reduce funding for future home solar systems by more than 85%. This would make it harder to lower energy bills by going solar.

Tell Gov. Murphy the regulations his administration has proposed threaten New Jersey’s strong solar economy. There are more than 6,000 solar energy jobs across the state. Tell them that you want New Jersey residents to be fully compensated for the multiple benefits that their solar systems bring to all ratepayers.
