East of the River Solar Co-op Selects Solar Solution

By Ben Delman on February 9, 2016

The East of the River Solar Co-op has selected Solar Solution to install solar panels for the 40-member group. Co-op members selected Solar Solution through a competitive bidding process over three other local firms. The group will hold two additional public information sessions (details below) to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op members selected Solar Solution because of their impressive resume of installations in the District, in addition to very competitive prices on quality solar components.

The co-op is open to new members until April 30. Residents of D.C. who live in Wards 7 and 8 and are interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op website. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Solar Solution will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system.
