Autumn Long

Autumn works to grow support for and access to solar in West Virginia by providing education on the benefits of solar, advocating for solar-friendly laws and policies, and implementing solar programs and initiatives across the state. Her written work on renewable energy has been published in local and regional media. Born and raised in West Virginia, Autumn has been an entrepreneur, community organizer, advocate, writer, editor, researcher, and gardener. She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Arts in Geography from West Virginia University. Leading by example, Autumn resides on a solar-powered homestead in rural Harrison County, West Virginia, with her husband, dog, cats, chickens, horse, and donkey.
