Seminole County Solar Co-op selects Superior Solar to serve group

By Ben Delman on April 26, 2019

The Seminole County Solar Co-op has selected Superior Solar to install solar panels for the 70-participant group. Co-op participants selected Superior Solar through a competitive bidding process over seven other firms. The group will hold its final public information session May 11, 2 p.m. at the Jean Rhein Central Branch Library, 215 North Oxford Road, Casselberry, to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op participants selected Superior Solar because of their equipment offerings, price and warranties. The co-op is open to new participants until June 3. All Seminole County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at solarunitedneighbors.org/Seminole. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.

Superior Solar will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
