Selection committee participants review proposals from several installers.

The St. Pete Autumn Solar Co-op has selected Solar Source to install solar panels for the 60-participant group. Co-op participants selected the company through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. The group will hold a public information session tomorrow, October 16, at 6 p.m. to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op participants selected Solar Source for their competitive pricing, equipment offerings, warranties, and experience.

The co-op is open to new participants until November 30. Pinellas County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page: www.solarunitedneighbors.org/stpete. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.

Solar Source will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
