Support solar on #GivingTuesday

By Anya Schoolman on December 2, 2014

Happy #GivingTuesday!

For the first time ever, DC SUN is excited to participate in #GivingTuesday, an international day ofgiving.

All around the country, people are supporting local organizations and making a difference in their communities.

Here in the District, DC SUN has been working to make solar accessible and affordable for all residents. We’ve organized solar co-ops, passed groundbreaking community solar legislation, and fought against Exelon’s takeover of Pepco. In the last 18 months we’ve also helped nearly 400 residents go solar in DC, MD, and VA.

We’ve abeen working on a shoestring budget, through the amazing support of volunteers and community leaders.

In 2015 our goal is to be able to help even more homeowners go solar. But we can’t do it without YOU.

Did you go solar in 2014 with the help of DC SUN? If so, pay it forward! Donate to support the next wave of solar in DC.

Couldn’t go solar last year? Help us build more opportunities to make solar accessible and affordable to all. Every dollar supports neighborhood solar co-ops, low-income solar projects, and strong solar incentives.

We’re all creating our energy future. Help make solar a part of that future!

Sincerely,

Anya
