Upper Piedmont Solar Co-op selects Sustainable Energy Systems to serve group

By Nick Seymour on April 23, 2019

The Upper Piedmont Solar Co-op has selected Sustainable Energy Systems to install solar panels for the 24-participant group. Co-op participants selected Sustainable Energy Systems through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. The group will hold its next public information session on Thursday, May 9, at 6 p.m. at the Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, Va. More event details can be found below.

Co-op participants selected Sustainable Energy Systems because of their competitive pricing, quality components, and above all, experience in the local market.

The co-op is open to new participants until Friday, May 31. Residents of Clarke, Fauquier, Loudoun, Frederick, Rappahannock, and Warren counties interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.

Sustainable Energy Systems will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
