Webinar explores benefits of distributed wind

By Ben Delman on October 2, 2015

When people think of distributed renewable energy, solar tends to be what comes to mind. But this isn’t always the case. Distributed wind energy is a growing source of locally-developed renewable energy. What’s more, distributed wind generation has the potential to generate gigawatts of energy.

Recently, the Distributed Wind Energy Association hosted a webinar to educate the public about distributed wind energy, where it is deployed, how it is used, and how it can grow. Take a listen here: http://distributedwind.org/home/learn-about-distributed-wind/what-is-distributed-wind/

Do you have experience working on a distributed wind project? Are you trying to build one in your community? Let us know. We’d love to hear your story.
