Why did you decide to go solar?

We installed a half system of solar panels and a storage battery to cut our monthly bill by 50%. With the escalating electric costs now, it is an even greater savings, closer to 70% a month now. We appreciated the Federal tax credit against the cost of the installation too.

What was the process like for you? Did anything surprise you, or were there challenges you had to overcome?

We appreciated working with a local solar company installing a system that integrated seamlessly with the local electric power company. That was crucial for us. (Good new jobs for skilled local workers. Solar panels that fit our storm conditions. Safety for our local electricians and power grid workers.)
