Went solar with the Potomac Solar Co-op

What interested you about going solar initially? Why do you support solar energy?

I support renewable energy and this was a chance to put that support into action.

Why did you choose to go solar with a solar co-op? What benefits did you experience going solar with a co-op?

Co-op provides information, resources, and better pricing.

Has anything surprised you about going solar?

No real surprises.

Do you have any data on your solar system’s performance?

No hard data, but I estimate that I’m paying about 10% of what I paid last year.  Of course my cash outlay for the array effectively paid for that up front for several years…. 

What advice would you give to someone is considering going solar?

I would highly recommend it, and also highly recommend going through the co-op.  It made the process much smoother and more cost effective.
