Protect your right to go solar in Texas
Texas law currently allows local governments to infringe on our right to go solar. They can impose unfair restrictions on where we can install panels and levy high fees as well.
The good news is that the Texas Senate has passed a bill (SB 2066) to prevent municipalities from setting anti-solar rules. The bill also establishes commonsense solar consumer protection standards. Now it’s time for the House to vote on the bill.
Tell them that government should get out of the way so that homeowners and small businesses can make their own investments and use their own energy resources.
Thank you standing up to protect our solar rights!
