Protect your right to go solar in Texas
Texas law currently allows local governments to infringe on our right to go solar. They can impose unfair restrictions on where we can install panels and levy high fees as well.
The Texas Senate passed a bill (SB 2066) to prevent municipalities from setting anti-solar rules, and establish commonsense solar consumer protection standards. However the House failed to act on it during the 2019 legislative session. However, we’re going to keep the pressure on for the next legislative session.
Tell them that government should get out of the way so that homeowners and small businesses can make their own investments and use their own energy resources.
Thank you standing up to protect our solar rights!
