What is happening
Arizona enjoys abundant sunshine and an ideal climate for solar energy. We could lead the nation in solar adoption. While solar is growing in the state, Arizona only ranks fifth in total solar capacity in the U.S. today.1
Complex and differing utility rate structures, the elimination of net metering, and politics have made it difficult for residents like you to figure out how and when to go solar. Or if it’s possible at all.
The good news is that federal clean energy investments are flooding into the state thanks to the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) last year. We’re asking the Hobbs Administration to prioritize leveraging these funding opportunities to accelerate distributed solar progress in Arizona.
