Prince George’s Solar Co-op selects Sustainable Energy Systems and SolarGaines

By Brandon Walton on November 12, 2015

The Prince George’s Solar Co-op has selected Sustainable Energy Systems and SolarGaines to install solar panels for the 60-member group. Co-op members selected each installer through a competitive bidding process over six other firms. The group will hold its final public information session on November 14th at 3:00 pm at the Upper Marlboro Public Library (14730 Main Street) to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op members selected these installers because of their excellent pricing, strong warranties and their wide selection of financing options.

The co-op is open to new members until February 29, 2016. Residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op website (www.mdsun.org/prince-georges). Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Your assigned installer will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save up to 20% off the cost of their system.
