Members of the Harrisonburg community have organized a neighborhood solar co-op. By going solar together participants save 30% off the cost of a solar system and have the support of the group throughout the process.

About the Group
As part of a national grassroots effort by homeowners to produce clean, renewable energy and lower installation and equipment costs through a bulk purchase process, community members in Harrisonburg, VA are going solar together and getting a discount with support from the non-profit Community Power Network/
Following our first meeting on June 2, we already have over 40 individuals who have indicated interest in participating. Our effort is not limited to Harrisonburg City residents; we are hoping to include folks in nearby counties, cities, and towns.
