CPN helping organize community solar cooperatives

By Emily Stiever on May 6, 2014

CPN and our state programs have been working with citizens in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC to help citizen organize solar cooperatives. By forming a solar cooperative and going solar as a group, participants are able to get a significant discount on the cost of a solar project. They also have the support of the coop as they go through the solarization process.

Check out our new resource page, which lists all of our current and past solar cooperative or bulk purchase projects. Want to start a coop in your community? Contact us! We have lots of resources to help you get started.
