Solar co-ops in Hillsborough and North Pinellas Counties select installers

Two Florida solar co-ops have chosen installers. The Hillsborough County Solar Co-op selected SEM Power, LLC and the North Pinellas co-op selected Guardian Solar. The co-ops used an open and competitive bidding process to choose the installers.

Both co-ops are open to new members until December 25. Hillsborough County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up here and North Pinellas residents can sign up here.  

Joining the co-ops is not a commitment to purchase panels. Both installers will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants benefit from group pricing, community support and competitive offerings.
