We are joining forces with The Alliance for a Clean Texas (ACT) to hold a “Lobby Day” at the state Capitol on April 11th. Come together with Texans from across the state to call on the Legislature to strengthen environmental protections and advocate for pro-solar policies.

What is happening: The state’s main environmental regulator, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), is currently going through “Sunset review,” which means the Legislature must vote to reauthorize the agency to continue its work. This provides a unique opportunity to reform the agency to improve public participation in the permitting process, raise penalties against polluters, and clean up our air, water, land and climate.

Gather together at the Capitol on April 11 and you’ll have a chance to meet people from across the state working to protect their communities from pollution, learn more about the issues, and make your voice heard amid this key opportunity to strengthen environmental protection.
