Augusta County Info Session May 12

By Aaron Sutch on May 4, 2015

The Augusta co-op is off to a great start! We’re holding an information session next Tuesday, May 12 to educate the community about solar energy and the co-op process. The session will be held at the Waynesboro Public library from 6:30-8:30pm.

The session is designed to answer any and all questions you have about solar energy: how it works, how to get it on your home, how to finance it. It will also explain how co-op members can save up to 20% off their solar purchase with the co-op, and how the co-op creates a support system to ensure the solar process is as simple as possible.

Based on the same principle as buying in bulk, co-op members purchase solar systems together to save money and share knowledge. The group uses a competitive bidding process to select a single company that will install systems on all of the participating homes. Each participant signs his or her own contract with the installer, but everyone gets the bulk discount.

If you are unable to make the session, you can watch a information session recorded from another co-op.

Bring a friend! We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday!
