Catch the sun with us in Richmond, and across Virginia

We will be hosting a screening of the film “Catching the Sun” at this year’s Richmond Environmental Film Festival on February 18. The film examines how the growth of solar not only provides an alternative energy source, but also can create good, new jobs.

The screening will be held at the Byrd Theatre, 2908 W. Cary Street. It will begin at 1:30. After the film, Aaron Sutch will lead a discussion about the film and solar’s local impact. Richmond Solar Co-op member Charles Gerena of Drive Electric RVA will be there to discuss solar-powered electric vehicles as well. The event is free and open to the public.
