Co-op partner profile: Rene Swafford

Greensboro resident Rene Swafford has taken an active role in improving her community. She volunteers as a pro bono attorney in addition to serving as a Town Commissioner, and on the zoning board.

It was through this work she met MD SUN at a recent meeting of the Maryland Municipal League. Learning about the co-op excited her to help fellow Caroline County community members go solar. She is particularly eager to help them get a discount on their purchase by going solar together.
