Collier County Solar Co-op selects installer to serve group

By Ben Delman on March 6, 2019
The Collier County Solar Co-op selection committee met to choose an installer to serve the group.

The Collier County Solar Co-op has selected WindMar Home to install solar panels for the growing 75+ participant group. Co-op participants unanimously selected the company Home through a competitive bidding process. The group will hold its final public information session March 6 (details below) to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op participants selected WindMar Home because of their quality components, warranties, affordable pricing and experience.

The co-op is open to new participants until April 19. Collier County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at: www.solarunitedneighbors.org/collier. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. WindMar Home will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate.

By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
