DC SUN taking part in “Nickels for Nonprofits” program

DC SUN has partnered with the Tenleytown Whole Foods’ “Nickels for Nonprofits” program. Each quarter, the store chooses two area non-profits to participate. Shoppers will have an opportunity to donate the 5¢ they receive for each reusable bag they bring with them when they shop to DC SUN or the Anacostia Watershed Society. The program runs through the end of September.
