Eastern Panhandle solar co-ops select Mountain View Solar to serve groups

Two solar co-ops in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle have selected Mountain View Solar to install solar panels for their members. Co-op participants selected Mountain View Solar through a competitive bidding process to service the 15-member Potomac Highlands Solar Co-op and the 29-member Jefferson/Berkeley/Morgan Counties Solar Co-op.

Co-op participants selected Mountain View Solar because of their outstanding pricing, quality equipment, strong warranties, extensive experience, and locality to the co-ops.

The co-ops are open to new participants until May 18. Residents of West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle interested in joining a solar co-op can sign up at solarunitedneighbors.org/PotomacHighlands if they live in Hampshire, Mineral, Hardy, Grant, or Pendleton County, solarunitedneighbors.org/Jefferson if they live in Jefferson County, or solarunitedneighbors.org/BerkeleyMorgan if they live in Berkeley or Morgan County.

Joining a co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Mountain View Solar will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants receive fair and competitive pricing for solar, with support and guidance from Solar United Neighbors of West Virginia throughout the entire process.
