Frederick County Solar Co-op selects installer to serve group

The Frederick County Solar Co-op has selected Sustainable Energy Systems to install solar panels for the 80-member group. Co-op members selected Sustainable Energy Systems through a competitive bidding process over 10 other firms.

Co-op members selected Sustainable Energy Systems because of the company’s competitive pricing, strong warranties, and local experience.

The co-op is open to new members until February 28, 2017. Frederick County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op’s web page. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Sustainable Energy Systems will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system.
