We recently compiled a list of resource and examples of renewable energy cooperatives around the country.

Our new Renewable Energy Cooperatives website section includes:

• A description of the seven core principles that define a cooperative;
• A breakdown of the five different types of cooperative structures;
• Examples of organizations that fall within each type of structure; and
• Resources and tools on how to start a cooperative.

But our list of renewable energy cooperatives is incomplete. Check out the list and then let us know what organizations we are missing!

We are also developing a resource guide on renewable energy cooperatives and tax incentives. If you know of resources that detail how cooperatives can take tax incentives, or know of someone who would be good to talk to, let us know.
