Middle Peninsula Solar Co-op selects installer

By Ben Delman on October 26, 2016

The Middle Peninsula Solar Co-op has selected Shockoe Solar to install solar panels for the 38-member group. Co-op members selected Shockoe Solar through a competitive bidding process over six other firms. The group will hold a public information session on Monday, November 17 at 6 p.m. at the Gloucester Library to educate the community about solar and the co-op process. Co-op members selected Shockoe Solar for its highly competitive pricing and quality materials.

The co-op is open to new members until January 15. Middle Peninsula residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at: Middle Peninsula Co-op. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Shockoe Solar will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save up to 20% off the cost of their system.
