Selection committee participants met to review bids the group received.

The Okaloosa-Walton Solar Co-op has selected SunFarm Energy to install solar panels for the 34-participant group. Co-op participants selected SunFarm Energy through a competitive bidding process over three other firms.

Co-op participants selected SunFarm for their competitive pricing, quality equipment offerings, and strong warranty.

The co-op is open to new participants until March 1. Residents of Okaloosa and Walton Counties who are interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.

SunFarm Energy will provide each co-op participant with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
