Richmond Community Solar Co-op selects Sigora Solar as group’s installer

By Brandon Walton on February 16, 2016

The Richmond Community Solar Co-op has selected Sigora Solar to install solar panels for the 50-member group. Co-op members selected Sigora Solar through a competitive bidding process over six other firms. The group also announced it will hold a happy hour public information session on March 9 from 5-8 p.m. at the Scott’s Edition Urban Farmhouse to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op members selected Sigora Solar for their excellent pricing, quality components and commitment to customer service.

The co-op is open to new members until April 30. Richmond residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Sigora Solar will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system.
