Solar co-op member in DC published in Slate about his solar journey

Thomas Burnett, a member of the recent Ward 3 co-op in DC had an interesting article published in slate recently about his experiences going solar and how he ended up working with his neighborhood solar co-op to get it done.

Note: We love the enthusiasm (what solar homeowner after a snowfall hasn’t considered it?) but we would not recommend going up on your roof to clean snow from your panels. This is very dangerous. The panels will shed their snow and keep producing energy for you soon enough on their own!
