Sarasota Solar Co-op selects Wayfare Energy to serve group

By Zach Schalk on July 9, 2018

The Sarasota Solar Co-op has selected Wayfare Energy to install solar panels for the 82-participant group. Co-op participants selected Wayfare Energy through a competitive bidding process over two other firms. The group will hold its final public information session on July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Jacaranda Library to educate the community about solar and the co-op process.

Co-op participants selected Wayfare Energy for their warranties, overall experience, and competitive pricing.

The co-op is open to new participants until August 31. Sarasota County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page: www.solarunitedneighbors.org/sarasota. The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels.

Wayfare Energy will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group participants and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
