Worcester co-op seeks installer
Today the two dozen members of the Worcester County Solar Co-op issued a request for proposal (RFP) to area installers seeking a company to serve the group’s members. The co-op selection committee will choose one company based upon the submitted bids in an open and competitive process.
Joining the group is not a commitment to purchase panels. The selected installer will create individualized bids for each group member based upon the winning bid. Co-op members can save up to 20% off the cost of going solar by doing so with the group. They also have the benefit of working with other group members and MD SUN to learn about solar so they can be confident in their decision. Installers interested in submitting a bid can find the RFP and response template below. The submissions are due August 19.
