Workshop to discuss solar
The St. Mark’s Green Lions are hosting a workshop on November 1 to discuss the growth of solar energy in the D.C.-area. This is a great opportunity to learn how you can go solar. The workshop will be held at St. Mark’s Church, ( 301 A Street SE) from 2 – 4 p.m. Representatives from DC SUN will be on hand to educate attendees about solar and discuss the local group purchase opportunity.
The Green Lions are the environmental committee of St Mark’s Episcopal Church Capitol Hill. The group works to create a sustainable environment in a way that actively promotes peace and justice. The Green Lions seek to educate and inspire the community to act in ways that sustain God’s creation, and work to ensure that St. Mark’s models the wise use of the earth’s resources to support a world in which all can thrive.
