I just want to thank SUN for giving us this opportunity. It has made the world of a difference for me and my family.

Why did you decide to go solar?

We had always wanted to go solar. It makes sense financially and environmentally. When we came across SUN and the rebate program, it was finally a possibility.

Did anything surprise you about the process of going solar?

Honestly how painless the whole process was!

What benefits did you experience going solar with a co-op?

We had heard about SUN and the low to moderate income household rebate and decided to see if we would qualify. As it turns out, we did and we were able to get $8,000 off of the cost of our system. We truly would not have even been able to consider going solar without it. We are so grateful!

Do you have any data about your solar system performance? What electricity savings have you seen since going solar?

We did the math and with the rebate we received, we will be able to pay off our system in a little over 2 years!

What advice would you give to someone considering going solar?

I would say to keep it simple. SUN really did all of the hard work for us so all we had to do was make sure the numbers made sense for us.
