I did not have to negotiate terms and/or pricing with the solar vendor. Lower costs due to bulk purchasing.

What advice would you give to someone considering going solar?

If your roof is old, wait until you get a new roof before adding solar. The cost of removing and replacing the panels is quite high.

Anything else you’d like to add?

I sized my solar system to run the house and charge an electric car. In addition to the electric bill savings, I also no longer by gasoline. We have since purchased a second electric car, so the electric bills have gone up slightly.
