Why did you decide to go solar?

I’ve always thought about having solar panels to help the earth. In 2020, I took a trip to Antartica! I wanted to see it, before the ice melted. It was an amazing trip. We were right there beside the penguins. We saw the seals, a few whales, and birds! It was a happy and sad day when the captain said. We are going in this bay, where we were not able to go to before, because the ice is melting. Now, I understand, they are going farther south then when I was there. Shortly after my return, I went solar. It’s working great for me. It is very important to do what we can to save our environment!

Has anything surprised you about going solar?

No changes, except a lower electric bill.

Have you seen electricity savings since going solar?

Yes savings!

What advice would you give to someone who is considering going solar?

Just to think about the animals, coral, environment that might benefit from it. Plus future generations of people!

Anything else you would like to add?

There are things we have no control over. This is one choice we can make to help the planet. It sure won’t hurt it!
