Who we are
Hackney Mill Works has been manufacturing commercial casework and custom millwork at our state of the art 12,000 square foot facility since 1997. Our work can be seen in museums, medical facilities, churches, schools, and courthouses. We are members of the Architectural Woodwork Industry and are AWI certified.
Why we went solar
As a manufacturer, we want to be as eco-friendly as possible. Going solar was a way to build on the many eco-friendly and energy efficient improvements we’ve made to our facility over the years. We all have a role to play in mitigating climate change and preserving our environment. We saw installing solar as a way to play our part.
Benefits of going solar
Producing our own power has allowed us to reduce our dependence on non-renewable sources of energy. This means we’re able to drastically lower our impact on the environment, all while saving money on our monthly energy bill—which works just fine for us.
