Stay informed about Jacksonville’s latest solar policy

In October 2017, Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) dealt a blow to solar supporters by drastically reducing the credit solar owners receive for the electricity they produce. The decision was made without consulting Jacksonville residents and ratepayers, the very people that will be harmed by the new policy. Solar United Neighbors of Florida has been organizing solar supporters in Jacksonville to fight against JEA’s new solar policy – and we’re winning! The JEA board has indicated a willingness to revisit their decision.
