2017 West Virginia Solar Congress

Solar supporters traveled from all over the state to attend the 2017 West Virginia Solar Congress.

The 2017 West Virginia Solar Congress was a huge success!

More than 40 solar supporters came together for the second annual West Virginia Solar Congress on June 24, 2017 at Eastern WV Community & Technical College in Moorefield, WV. They traveled from around the state to learn about solar, energy efficiency, Ohio-based utility FirstEnergy’s attempt to soak West Virginia ratepayers, and to discuss energy freedom for all West Virginians. WV SUN thanks our partners and local businesses that helped support, promote, and make this event possible: Eastern WV Community & Technical College, West Virginia Chapter of the Sierra Club – West Virginia, Energy Efficient West Virginia, O’Neills, South Branch Inn, Sheetz, and Fox’s Pizza Den.

The second annual West Virginia Solar Congress was hosted by WV SUN in partnership with Eastern WV Community & Technical College.
