Solar United Neighbors seeks individuals who: have photography or videography experience, and who possess their own high-resolution camera to take footage of events and/or co-op members with their solar systems. Location and time commitment is flexible.

Solar United Neighbors seeks individuals across the state who are interested in growing the Solar United Neighbors network and encouraging members of their community to consider going solar by:

  • Staffing a Solar United Neighbors informational table at a farmers market or event in your community
  • Distributing flyers in areas with open solar co-ops
  • Posting on social media and local community listservs

Did you go solar? We want to hear your story! We are always looking for co-op members and other solar homeowners to send us photos of their families with their solar systems, write testimonials, and take a video describing their experience of going solar.


 Solar Open House Hosts

Share your experience going solar by hosting a solar open house educate others about going solar.

We are currently seeking open house hosts in the following areas: Berkeley, Morgan, Jefferson, Hampshire, Mineral, Hardy, Grant, and Pendleton Counties, as well as in Charleston.


Solar activists

We work to protect and expand solar rights. We need folks who can testify, submit letters to your local newspaper, organize meetings, and track the issues and write about them. To get started, sign the petition to protect West Virginia ratepayers from FirstEnergy’s bad deal and sign up for our newsletter to stay informed on important campaigns to advance solar rights.
